On November 18th, Guitar Mash presented the 7TH ANNUAL URBAN CAMPFIRE, a unique and immersive musical experience where artists broke down the wall between the stage and the house and invited the audience to play and sing with them. Ani DiFranco, Biodun Kuti, Fernandito Ferrer, Jimmy Vivino, Kat Edmonson, Marc Ribot and Toshi Reagon led the audience in SONGS FOR CHANGE, together with Mark Stewart and the Mash house band. David Broza, Delicate Steve and Kaki King led “Musical Speed Dating,” one-on-one 3-minute master classes with attendees. And the Guitar Mash Teens led the audience in a tune and joined Ani for a pre-show session on songwriting and activism. Full wrap-up here.
